!!IMPORTANT ADVISE ON WHAT VACUUM EXTRACTOR TO GET!!
 This version is for a high pressure low volume extractor like the hazardous dust (H CLASS) Numatic/Metabo H class (others available)  . I can’t emphasise enough the importance of good safe extraction by using a cyclone pre-separator and a HEPTA filter H class vacuum, ideally the vacuum should be housed outside. Under no circumstances should you use this cabinet (or any other)  without proper extraction . You only have one set of lungs and should invest in protecting them from stone and abrasive dusts.
IF YOU ARE GRINDING OR USING AN AIR ABRASIVE YOU NEED A CYCLONE SEPARATOR (SEE OTHER LISTINGs IN CABINET ACCESSORIES or buy the “Full Monty Version”) AND AN H CLASS VACUUM. 
Alternative 100mm /4 inch extraction outlets can be added at time of order along with position but you should insure you are setting it up for safe extraction (are cyclone systems are not suitable for 4 inch extraction.)
IN A NUTSHELL  – MINIMUM RECOMMENDED SETUP AND  ACCESSORIES IF USING INDOOR EXTRACTION
  • SETUP SHOULD BE LOCATED IN AN OUTBUILDING OR GARAGE/SHED/ Dedicated room, I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY PREP-WORK IN LIVING AREAS.
  • JUST DOING PEN WORK – AN H CLASS VACUUM 
  • ABRASIVE WORK OR HEAVY DUTY GRINDING – H CLASS VACUUM DUAL CYCLONE WITH EASY EMPTY FEATURE AND OUR FINE DUST FILTER TO CAPTURE MOST OF THE FINE DUST NOT EXTRACTED BY THE CYCLONES. (THUS SAVING ON THOSE EXPENSIVE H CLASS FILTER BAGS) 
  •  USING THE TOOL BLOCK BAR IS ESSENTIAL TO STOP DUST EXCAPING. 
  • Our cabinet can be set up to use the Vaniman Air Abrasive system. 
  • Always wear a personal dust mask even when using a cabinet and extraction and especially when cleaning out the cabinet / emptying the cyclones.
  • If using a micro air abrasive it is recommended to use Aluminium oxide rather than iron powder unless you are yo full able to ground the installation.
System features:
  • 6mm toughened glass for premier safety. Also polished glass edges and rounded corners. Far superior to Perspex or thinner glass
  • Side brush slot for tools. (Right hand side as standard but we can make it left if you let me know at time of ordering.
  • Special 3D printed 50 mm extraction outlet (This fits our bolt on cyclone, an adapter is also provided to fit most vacuums).  Other bespoke options available (eg rear 100mm / 4 inch outlet)
  • Dust proof full width daylight LED light IP65 Rated
  • Arm Cuffs with soft wrist bands and open ends for handling your fossils with or without gloves
  • Metal Reinforced arm ports with seal
  • Sliding glass for those larger specimens or to clean
  • All white ply 18mm Laminated birch ply  construction for robustness and longevity far outclassing anything made from MDF or chipboard. Standard furniture grade birch ply for the stand.
  • Colour matched cut edges on the cabinet
  • Rubber feet for grip and reduced vibration.
  • Replaceable air  inlet filter
  • Silicon sealed corners
  •  Brush to clean out
  • Extraction hose adapter
  • Brush bar dust block for when using air abrasive (essential)
  • Stand supporting the cabinet and accommodating the collection hopper and chippings bucket

  • Bolt on Vaniman Air abrasive holder . Fitting nuts are supplied as standard for this accessory
  • Pro Dual Cyclone and fine dust box  extraction for those doing  air abrasive work with easy empty feature and up to 99.9% filtration. Makes media collection easier for reuse and saving on expensive H class bags.
  • Bolt on tool Holder
  • Bolt on electric plug adapter with switches for your cabinet light and extractor (and two other sockets and USB ports) (coming Feb 2026)
  • Bolt on 4 or 8 PCL hole line manifold so you can have your air tools ready to go (Coming Feb 26)
